Needle Felting Demonstrations

Samantha has been teaching and demonstrating many aspects of sewing since 1993 when she worked in the sewing machine retail industry as a demonstrator and tutor.

Her speciality technique is Machine Needle Felting, on any brand of machine which she has been exploring since 2006. Samantha has a large number of project and technique samples she uses in her demonstrations. People are encourage to handle and photograph her work for future reference.

Samantha charges $35 an hour to hold a demonstration/Trunk show. This is perfect for large and small groups or buisnesses to get an understanding of what a needle felting machine is capable of before investing in one or to appreciate what they can achieve on a machine they already own.

Samantha includes notes on the needle felting machines and reference information for further study.

Demonstrations are done on a Babylock 12 needle felter, showing lots of techniques on both synthetic and natural fibres and fabrics.

Trunk Shows are talk, showing samples of needle felting and freehand machine embroidery with question and answer time.
