Samantha Pope has been a textile artist since 1992. She lives on a farm near Murray Bridge in South Australia and is a part time freelance textiles tutor.

Her background is in the sewing machine retail and craft retail industries with over 13 years combined involvement. Since 2006 Samantha has written over 50 magazine project and technical articles for 7 different Australian and 1 international magazine.

In her spare time she is a volunteer in the South Australian Country Fire Service.
